Applying for a Grant
1) Grants are made to not-for-profit, charitable, or educational organizations in one or more of the eight Mississippi counties of Covington, Forrest, Jones, Jefferson Davis, Lamar, Marion, Perry, and Pearl River.
2) Beneficiaries of the grant must reside in one or more of the eight counties.
3) The organization receiving a grant must be located in the same eight county region.
4) Grants are awarded for a minimum of $25,000.00 for periods of one year.
Requirement: Turn three copies of the complete grant application in three individual three-ring binders.

Grant Cycles are:
January 1- March 31
April 1 - May 31
June 1 - August 31
Sept 1 - October 31
A tax-exempt organization described in Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code that is not a private foundation described in Section 509 (a):
or an exempt operation foundation described in Section 4940 (d) (2) of the Internal Revenue Code;
or an organization described in Section 170 (c) (1) or Section 511 (a)(2)(B) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The organization must have an active Board of Directors and a current annual audit.
Universities or Schools
When submitting a grant and you are a university, junior college or k-12 school the grant must be signed by the President of the University or by the Superintendent.
Areas of Interest
The Asbury Foundation funds grant proposals to assist education, health, and other initiatives.
